1. Searches, document creation and management, and code management are all handled through the workbench or project window:

2. Data is entered and coded through document windows. Codes can mark themes (e.g. attitude>negative) and context (e.g. speaker)

3. Data can then be transformed into results: tables that connect themes and context. These results can be further searched/selected, grouped into sets and analyzed:

4. Result sets can be automated (i.e., generated through macros). Auto sets can be project wide and can be used to query for very complex set of criteria:
